Original decorated wraps. Pagination runs 289 to 432, plus a few ads in the rear. With black and white illustrations throughout. A single issue of this magazine, featuring a ten page article on lighthouses-including their early history and development in various civilizations, French and British lighthouses, modern (circa 1860's) lighthouses and their innovations, and the Corporation of the Trinity House, which was an association of lighthouse-keepers. Also included in this issue is a travel piece on a sleigh ride through Russia, a look at Zanzibar, etc. In GOOD condition. Minor to moderate foxing to the wraps, heavier to the rear wrap. Minor soiling and general fading. Some creasing to the wraps. Many small chips and tears along the extremities, with some diagonal fold creases present. Interior solid with minor scattered soiling and foxing.
