The "Citizenship Expedition." No. 92-Second Series-5,000

Philadelphia: Indian Rights Association, 1914. Pamphlet. Good. Item #004364

Pamphlet. 4 pages. A short work taking to task the investigation into Native American affairs by a Dr. J.K. Dixon, hired by a Senate commission. This pamphlet refutes his findings, citing his brief and cursory visits to various reservations and noting the lack of any substantial time spent at the reservations. Dixon's expedition, in the guise of establishing U.S. citizenship for Native Americans, is also demonstrated to a little late in timing. Brief mention of a Navajo uprising is found within. GOOD+ condition with some superficial scuffing and chipping to the front page along the fore edge, perhaps from an insect, due to the small hole at the lower corner. Minor crease to the lower rear page, with minor darkening to the paper.

Price: $20.00
