Front cover depicts a Native American in front of a teepee, smoking a pipe. A work for children, recounting Native American customs and life, as seen throught the eyes of an boy, Eagle Feather and including tales of a buffalo hunt, various dances and a story told by Thundercloud. Probably loosely based on fact. In GOOD condition. Small area of faint dampstain on the center front cover, with two smaller dampstains at the upper front extremity. General minor to moderate uneven browning to the wraps. Some soiling. Small tear at the center fore edge. Lower corners creased and curled. Previous owner's signature in ink on the lower front cover. Covers tearing along the hinges at the upper and lower spine. Minor toning to the interior.
