Full leather. Xii, 249 pp, plus a 1 page ad on the last page. With an engraved frontispiece depicting Quarll and his favorite companion. Collated and complete. A fictional account in the style of Robinson Crusoe of a man marooned on an island off the Pacific coast of Mexico. In GOOD condition with heavy scuffing to the covers, moderate soiling to the upper front cover and uneven fading/darkening. Faint dampstain present on the front cover, cover about 2/3s of it and affecting the pages within (mostly faint), dissipating by page 125. Minor loss of leather along the front cover fore edge and corners. Covers are weak and beginning to split along the hinges but are intact. Text block solid and clean, with some darkening, scattered foxing and the aforementioned dampstain.
