Side folding tabloid newspaper format. Single sheet folded into four pages. Single issue of this newspaper with a variety of news and advertisements. This includes a piece on the United States Navy and the "anxiety" it is causing the British; a column describing the land and features of East Florida; a copy of a letter from Major General Gaines describing encounters/war with Native American Indians in the Georgia region; news from Amelia Island; list of ships arriving and leaving the port of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, etc. POOR condition. Most of the last column on page ¾ CUT OUT and missing, affecting ads and perhaps a few short articles. Many horizontal and vertical fold creases present. Some foxing and toning, as well as general wrinkling. Previous owner's old ink notes in the margins of the pages.
