That event and the group that remained after, sought independence from the United States and colonial rule. This issue with pieces documenting FBI harassment of Puerto Rican cement workers who were striking, demonstrations in San Juan on May 1st (Worker's Day), commentary from Pedro Grant, news on the workers' movement by Alfredo Lopez, etc. VERY GOOD condition. Minor soiling, toning and edgewear. Two horizontal fold creases present.
