Single sheet folded in half, with printing on one side (of four) only. All text in French. Red wax seal present. A printed document from the Ministre-Secretaire-d'Etat de la Guerre, Comte Dupont, issued in 1814 authorizing the Decoration of the Lily Award to the recipient (not stated). The award was created at the end of Napoleon's reign during the Bourbon Restoration. Also present is an envelope and two other French documents, one a short handwritten letter from 1832 and the other a form letter from the Grand Chancellerie de la Legion D'Honneur regarding funds raised for the reconstruction of a palace, dating from the 1870s (date illegible).All in GOOD condition with various fold creases and other wrinkles and creases present. Minor soiling, toning and a few small stains.
