Lee, focusing primarily on his military career and his role as leader of the Confederate Army during the Civil War. This includes studies of various battles and campaigns, accompanied by maps. GOOD condition. Minor to moderate fading and scuffing to the covers, with minor soiling and a few small spots of discoloration. Spine very faded and worn looking. Cloth pulled, tattered and frayed at the head and tail of the spine. Some scuffing and fraying along the extremities. Interior hinges cracked but holding, with the rear cover somewhat tenuously attached. A few stray tick marks throughout.
