Hard cover in unclipped jacket. A new impression of the 1882 original. 142 pages with black and white illustrations throughout. A reprint of a classic work on horse coach/carriage driving, with in depth explanations on all aspects of it, including equipment, technique and other considerations. POOR jacket on a VERY GOOD book. Minor to moderate soiling to the jacket, with heavy soiling along the top front extremity. General darkening and some scuffing to the jacket. A 4 by 3 inch triangular piece of the jacket is MISSING from the lower rear panel, with several small tears extending from that locale. Some creasing also present there. Heavy chipping, tearing and creasing along the upper jacket extremity. Minor soiling and fading to the book, mostly along the extremities. Minor scuffing to the extremities. Two small wrinkles to the cloth on the lower spine, apparently part of the binding process. Slight lean to the binding. Interior clean and solid with very faint sporadic foxing to a few pages. POOR jacket on a VERY GOOD book.
