A classic work recounting the wars between the Cheyenne Indians and the US government in the mid to late 1800s, drawing on first hand accounts, where available, from both Native American and US government fighters. In GOOD condition some noticeable scuff/wear marks to the front cover, with very heavy scuffing/marking to the rear cloth along its extremities. These markings affect the outer layer of cloth. Uneven mostly minor fading and darkening, with heavy darkening to the spine. Minor soiling. Light edgewear with some pulling/fraying to the head of the spine. Interior clean and solid. [Howes G433].
