First edition. Original wraps. 23 pages. Double column text. An anti-slavery speech arguing (ultimately unsuccessful) against the repeal of the Missouri Compromise that had been passed in 1820. In FAIR/GOOD condition with moderate soiling/darkening to the covers, with a few creases and minor spots of foxing. One 1 inch square area at the upper left front corner appears to have been wiped with an eraser. Moderate to heavy edge wear, with some chipping, minor tears and creasing, especially along the fore edge. Minor soiling and darkening throughout. [Sabin 93663]
