A collection of creation myths and other related myths from China, including Pan Gu Opened the Sky and Earth, Fu Xi Taught People to Use Fire, the Yellow Dragon Subdued the Flood, Yi Shot Down Nine Suns, etc. Slip of paper, perhaps from the author or publisher, laid in, bearing corrections or amendments to the book. GOOD condition. Minor foxing and soiling to the wraps. Small area of staining to the upper rear cover, affecting the top of the last few pages. Previous owner's embossed stamp on the title page.

Interior solid with heavy foxing to the endpapers, with very minor scattered foxing throughout. Minor soiling to the front endpapers. Previous owner's gift inscription present. Page edges a bit foxed.
