A small section at the rear provides household cleaning hints and time-savers (a little starch in linen makes them more fun to iron). GOOD condition. Small area of staining to the lower fore edge of the front cover, with a few small stains to the rear. Minor creasing and soiling to the wraps. Scattered foxing and general fading in the interior.

General uneven fading to the covers, with minor soiling and staining, a bit heavier to the rear. Minor to moderate scuffing, with heavy scuffing along the extremities. Cloth frayed and worn along the edges, with chipping and loss at the head and tail of the spine. Interior hinges cracked and beginning to separate, but holding. Text block solid, with general toning to the paper. Scattered minor soiling and staining.

Small hole with string through it at the upper left corner. 32 pp. A promotional booklet for various elixirs and cures, including Castoria, Centaur Liniment, and Dr. Wei De Meyer's Catarrh Cure. Interspersed among the testimonials for these products are recipes for various breads, pies, salads, meat dishes, etc. GOOD condition. Lower left corner chewed, with a small triangular piece missing from the booklet. Minor chewing along the spine edge. General fading and minor creasing to the wraps. Minor soiling.
