A few small holes and edgewear (tiny missing sections) the endpapers and title page, perhaps from insects. Also present are a few tiny wormholes in the upper corners of several pages.Text block solid, with some toning and very minor scattered foxing. An area of staining affects the upper portion of the first 60 or so pages. Stray pencil marks in the margins of some pages, with a few notes on a rear endpaper. Page edges rather soiled and stained.
