1 Herbert, Frank et al. Dune World in Analog. Science Fiction Science Fact. December 1963 and February 1964.
New York Conde Nast Publications no Wraps Good 
1963, 1964. Color illustrated wraps. Both magazines measure 8 1/2 by 11 inches. 96, 98 pp. Two issues of the science fiction magazine, Analog, notable for containing the first appearance in print of 'Dune World,' by Frank Herbert, eventually published in book form under the title 'Dune.' These issues feature the first and third (and final) installment of the story. Lacking is the second part, published in the January 1964 issue. GOOD condition. The December issue has heavy foxing to the front cover, with minor to moderate foxing to the rear. Minor soiling and toning. Wrappers split and chipped at the head and tail of the spine. Minor creasing. Interior solid with minor toning to the paper and some foxing to the first and last few pages, mostly along the extremities. The February issue has minor fading and creasing to the covers, with minor foxing and a faint, small dampstain to the rear cover. Some chipping and tearing to the head of the spine, with a small piece missing from the lower rear corner. Tail of the spine chipped, having minor loss. Interior solid with minor toning and light scattered foxing.

New York Galaxy Publishing 1966 no Wraps Good 
Color illustrated wraps by Gaughan. Digest sized. 194 pp. A few black and white illustrations throughout. A single issue of this science fiction magazine featuring 'The Last Castle,' by Jack Vance, winner of both a Hugo and Nebula award. With work by Frank Herbert, 'The Primitives,' Willy Ley and Robert Silverberg. GOOD condition. Some fading and toning to the wrappers. Minor soiling and staining, with a few spots most noticeable along the spine. Owner's last name in ink on the upper front cover. Lower front hinge torn along the bottom 2 inches. Minor wear to the head of the spine. Interior toned. Slight musty odor.

Color illustrated wraps. Digest sized. 130 pp. A single issue of this science fiction magazine featuring the novelette 'Greenslaves' by Frank Herbert, among other work. GOOD condition. Minor general fading and toning. Light scuffing, creasing and soiling. A 1 inch jagged tear present near the upper rear hinge. Interior solid with pages toned.
