New York The Century Company 1895 no Wraps Good 
Decorative wraps. Black and white illustrations and ads throughout. A single issue of this magazine geared toward a juvenile audience, featuring "The King's Ankus," a Jungle Story by Rudyard Kipling, as well as several chapters of "Jack Ballister's Fortunes" written and illustrated by Howard Pyle, and "The Brownies Through the Union," written and illustrated by Palmer Cox (in Texas in this segment). GOOD condition. Minor to moderate uneven soiling to the covers, with the front cover somewhat grubby. Minor staining. Faint ownership signature at the top corner of the front cover. Extremities bumped, with some chipping and minor tearing. Wrappers splitting along the upper and lower hinges. Minor scattered soiling in the interior. Faint dampstain to the upper corner of the last third of the pages.

Original wraps. A single issue, this one containing a Brownies story by Pamer Cox, with his illustrations In GOOD condition. Remains of a small address label on the center front cover. Minor soiling and some darkening. Many small tears and a few chips along the extremities. 2 inches of the outer wraps missing at the lower spine. Interior clean and solid.

Illustrated wraps. Pagination runs 587-664, plus ads. Black and white illustrations throughout. A single issue of this magazine for a juvenile audience, featuring 'The Banner of Beaumanoir,' the sixth Spinning Wheel story by Louisa May Alcott; "The Brownies' Voyage" written and illustrated by Palmer Cox, etc. GOOD condition. Front wrapper torn, chipped and creased along the bottom hinge. Moderate to heavy chipping and small tears along the extremities. Minor soiling and general toning. Pen squiggle to the lower front cover. Partial address label also present.
