First edition. #5 of 150 clothbound copies. Brown cloth in yellow, illustrated dust jacket. Signed on the colophon and title page by Daisy Aldan, the editor (and publisher of Folder Editions). 116 pages. Black and white illustrations throughout. A collection of poems and drawings by American poets and artists associated with the Beat movement, Abstract Expressionism, the New York School and other important mid-20th century movements. This includes Jack Kerouac, Allen Ginsberg, Charles Olson, LeRoi Jones, Denise Levertov, Robert Creeley and others. With artwork by Jackson Pollock, Willem De Kooning, Franz Kline, Helen Frankenthaler and others. GOOD jacket on a VERY GOOD book. General scuffing and fading to the jacket. Minor soiling. Several small chips and tears present along the jacket edges. Minor fading and edgewear to the book.

Coyote's Journal originated as an offshoot of the Northwest Review, after a controversy arose for the publishing of 'questionable' material. GOOD condition. Moderate scuffing to the covers, with general fading, minor toning and soiling. Faint paint smudge to the center front cover and lower rear cover. Extremities scuffed. Interior foxed.
