A publication of the journal of Abner Sanger, written in the 18th century around the American Revolution, reflecting the daily life in colonial America, in particular Keene, New Hampshire. Sanger was a loyalist who cared for his twin brother's family after his brother left them to fight for the British. Sanger also participated in the French and Indian War and the capture of Montreal. GOOD condition, ex-museum library. Pocket, pastedown, spine label present. Minor soiling and a small faint stain to the front cover. Minor fading and edgewear. Sticker residue on the lower rear cover. Interior clean and solid.
